| Here are a few tips that will greatly improve your driving as a novice. None of which you have to be behind the wheel for: 1. Talk to more experienced drivers for tips 2. Study the course map and ask questions if you are unclear about anything. 3. Walk the course (Twice if you can. With an experienced driver if you can, too.) 4. Ride with a more experienced driver or instructor to get a feel for the course. 5. Get an instructor to drive your car through the course to get a feel for your car through the course.
